Who we send you to, and why

We’re Steve and Gill. Between us we’ve been cruising for fifty years, and we built CruisePriceSpy because we got tired of not knowing whether a price was good or just loud.

How this site earns its keep

Every price on the site is free to look at, and it always will be. When you click through to book, we may earn a small commission from the agent or the cruise line — it never changes what you pay, and it’s the only way the site earns anything. We’d rather tell you that plainly than have you wonder.

Who we send you to

For most cruise lines — P&O, Cunard, Celebrity, Princess, Royal Caribbean, NCL, MSC and others — the button takes you to Cruise118, a UK agent we’ve chosen because they’re ABTA-bonded, they know these lines well, and when we’ve checked their prices against the lines’ own they’ve come out cheaper more often than not. For the luxury lines — Regent, Silversea, Seabourn, Oceania, Crystal — it’s SixStarCruises, their sister company, who specialise in them. And for Ambassador, Fred. Olsen and Virgin Voyages, the button takes you straight to the cruise line’s own website, because those are simplest to book direct.

A tip before you book with an agent

Have a good look at the cruise on their site first. Then, when you’re ready, ring them rather than booking online — they’ll usually match a cheaper price you’ve seen elsewhere, and they’ll often add something for booking by phone. Tell them the ship and the date, and say you found it on CruisePriceSpy. That helps us, and it costs you nothing.

What we never do

We never take money to put one cruise line above another. We never hide a cheaper way to book. We never pay anyone for a review. And we never show you a price we haven’t seen ourselves.

If anything on the site doesn’t look right, tell us — we read every email and we answer them ourselves.
