If you’ve ever searched for a cruise, bookmarked a nice price, and come back a week later to maybe book it — you have probably already lost. Here’s what daily price-tracking has actually shown us, with real dates and real numbers.
Proof the bargains are real
These aren’t marketing prices. They’re what we watched Cunard actually charge, day by day, cabin by cabin.
A 9-night Cunard repositioning sailing from Southampton (departing 10 Jan 2027) had its Inside cabin sitting at £65.00 per person, per night from 20 July through 24 July.
On 25 July, it jumped to £80.20/night — a 23% rise overnight — and it’s stayed there ever since. Anyone who saw £65 and thought “I’ll book it later” will be paying more than they needed to.
A Queen Victoria Balcony cabin (10 Aug 2026 departure) fell from £217.80 to just £90.10 per night — a 59% drop, the sharpest Balcony fall we’ve recorded on Cunard to date.
It held for exactly ONE DAY and then rose to £146.60/night.
That “4 days” figure is the median across every genuinely cheap Cunard price we’ve logged since we started tracking — not a cherry-picked example. HALF of the bargains we’ve seen were gone in under four days. Some lasted three weeks. Quite a few didn’t survive the night.
